Fragrance Sample Request & Evaluation Guide

Prepare a focused sample request, confirm destination courier feasibility and evaluate scent performance, atomizer output and packaging before placing a wholesale or OEM order.

  • Sample pricing rule

Sample unit charges follow confirmed product sample pricing; availability and courier costs are confirmed before dispatch.

  • Minor label sample credit

Agreed sampling and design fees for minor label changes (about 10 days) are 100% credited against that project’s bulk order.

  • Carrier feasibility check

Share your destination country and postal code (or China agent address) to verify liquid fragrance courier routing.

1. Shortlist models, scents and set formats to test

To keep sample evaluation efficient, specify the exact model codes (for example BC8801, LBC-2501, LBC-2401 or 601-SET) and scent names you want to test. If you are evaluating a 60ML + 10ML set, request the complete set so both vessels and the presentation box can be reviewed together.

Sample prices are shown on the product page where available. Contact our sales team to confirm availability and shipping costs for your selection before ordering.

2. Distinguish catalog samples from minor label-change pre-production samples

Catalog samples allow you to evaluate existing stock fragrances, bottles and sprayers immediately. Minor label-change samples prepare your brand artwork on an existing model and typically require about 10 days.

For agreed label-customization projects, sampling and design fees are credited against the corresponding bulk order. Standard product samples and shipping charges follow the terms in your quotation. Custom formulation or mold fees are governed separately by your quotation terms.

3. Confirm international courier or China agent delivery

Because fragrance products contain aromatic liquids, international air courier routing depends on the destination country, postal code and carrier policy. Provide your full delivery address—or your receiving agent’s address in Shantou, Guangzhou or Yiwu—so our team can confirm the most reliable dispatch route and shipping cost.

4. Four physical checkpoints during sample review

Record your team’s feedback against each model code so approved references transfer directly into your wholesale Proforma Invoice or OEM pre-production sign-off:

  • Olfactory profile: opening top notes, heart development and dry-down longevity on skin and blotter strips.
  • Atomizer & actuator performance: spray mist dispersion, spray angle, pump stroke smoothness and neck crimping or collar fit.
  • Container & finish quality: glass or PET clarity, shimmer suspension uniformity, cap retention and label adhesion.
  • Retail & transit readiness: inner box fitment, set tray stability and alignment with your target retail price point.

5. Keep a physical sample evaluation record

Use a separate record for each model and sample version. Record only what your team observed, and refer to the approved specification when requesting changes.

Product / model code:
Fragrance and complete specification:
Sample label or artwork version:
Batch reference, if provided:
Date received and date reviewed:
Reviewer:

Scent observations after spraying:
Dry-down observations and elapsed time actually observed:
Bottle, cap and label observations:
Spray and pump observations:
Outer packaging and complete set contents:
Differences from an approved reference sample, if applicable:
Requested changes or questions:
Decision — approve / request changes / request another sample:
Follow-up sample or confirmation required:

The record captures your team’s observations for this sample. Agree any requested changes and confirm the reference sample and specification before bulk production.

All prices, carton specifications, order units and delivery schedules are confirmed in your official Quotation or Proforma Invoice from Shantou Chaoweiyang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (CHAOWEIYANG).
